Add an email or domain to the organization blacklist. Use this before imports and before billable enrichments when filtering should be enforced.

This page documents the canonical HTTP contract for this endpoint.

This endpoint is organization-scoped and requires user_admin. Developer API keys are blocked; use an authenticated user session. Unknown JSON fields are ignored by the request model. Domain entries also create or update durable company-reconciliation records for matching companies; no provider search is started by this route.

Typical early suppressions: unsubscribed contacts, existing customers, competitors, and clear non-ICP targets.

    Optional for email entries. Domain entries require customer, partner, vendor, competitor, disqualified, or other; other requires notes. Accepted aliases are normalized.

    Optional internal notes.

Errors

StatusMeaning
400Invalid email/domain format or invalid domain reason.
422Invalid or missing body field, or unsupported entry type.
401Missing or invalid user session.
403Developer API keys are blocked; an authenticated user_admin session is required.
403Authenticated user lacks user_admin permission.
409Entry already exists.
